Some days I love that my big girl is growing and her tastes and dreams are changing. She's into fashion, music, and art. But, other days I miss that sweet little girl who needed me so.
I guess I'm thankful the she is still young enough to want me around most of the time, but old enough to have her own ideas and opinions. She has a mind of her own. She is confident and won't let anyone walk over her. (She has her brothers to thank for that.) She's a tough cookie and a smart one too.
I think she'll do just fine in her 'tweens and teens. It's her dad and I that I worry about.
Thanks for stopping in. Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Linking up with these lovely ladies today:
Don't forget, tomorrow's Friday Photo Journal. Come by and link up your favorite shots of the week. You can grab the button in my sidebar.
What a great image. I can feel what you wrote about the changes taking place. I think in the Tweens a couple months can be like a couple years with the amount of fast development. Feeling it here too. :)
What a sweet young lady you have on your hands! Love this picture! Happy V-day!
Can totally relate to this, Mama. :) She's gorgeous!
lol to that dad comment. Ain't that the truth of things?
Such a beautifully captured moment! So full of emotion and thought...my girl will turn 18 in April and I am pretty much in denial about the whole going off to college thing...really, I'm just trying to not fall apart!!
Such beautiful young lady. Time flies by so fast you'll wake one day seeing her as a full-grown woman.
Beautiful photo. She is just gorgeous!!
