So my question this week is: What's the name of your favorite book from childhood? (If you are anything like me, picking just one can be tough...feel free to share any way you like. Aloha!)My answer: One of my all time favorites is
The Fourteen Bears in Summer and Winter, by Evelyn Scott. I was so excited when I'd found it had been republished and I ordered a copy for my kids, who also love it.
Gosh, that is hard. I loved A Wrinkle In Time when I was older, like 8th grade. I loved Judy Blume and Blubber. Oh oh!! Harriet The Spy! Such a great book. I also loved Beverly Cleary and Ramona.
Oh yes, I remember all of those and loved them too Kekibird. Harriet the Spy is definitely on my reread list with the kids and A Wrinkle in Time...so great.
That is hard.. I did love the C.S lewis series.. Lion Witch and the wardrobe.
I loved reading when I was a kid (still do). It's hard to pick a favorite. I loved Ramona, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and later The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
A Series of Unfortunate Events was fun to read even as an adult, I know I would have loved them.
I loved reading Tiger Eyes by Judy Bloom
Are You My Mother by P.D. Eastman is my very favorite. I love it so much that my husband bought it for me along with a stuffed dog from the cover for my birthday a few years ago. I love it!!!!
I love Where The Wild Things Are. Of course, we have two copies of it in our house!
I loved the Nancy Drew set!!!
I don't know what my favorite book was, but I remember that I loved R L Stine books!
I always loved the Borrowers. Secretly wishing we had some somewhere under our floorboards, lol
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs! That was hard at all as it is now one of my kids favorites!
Hands down all time favourite as a child was Winnie-the Pooh, by A.A. Milne.
My favorite picture book would be Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Love that and have a copy for my boys. Can not wait to see the movie this fall :)
Love you forever!
