Happy Friday all! I'll keep this short and sweet as I have a busy weekend ahead. A Friday wedding, Saturday celebration for my grandmother's 104th birthday, and our kiddos' end of the year Co-op variety show, plus family in town, and a maternity session Sunday. Soooo, I'm juggling several things.

 This week was fun - lots of end of the school year excitement, lots of lovely warm weather for bikes rides, walks, planting flowers, and sprinkler play. Also, a lovely family Easter celebration. It was a great week! How was yours?

Friday Photo Journal, April 19, 2019

Happy Friday all!  Here we are zooming into Easter weekend and I'm excited for some family fun. This week was spring break for local schools, but we kept up our normal schedule. We had planned to take today off and take the kids to Busch Gardens, as a sort of surprise treat, but Mother Nature is sending us some big storms. That plan will have to wait for another day, unfortunately.

Otherwise, our week was busy with the usual school/work activities, plus plumbing repairs (fun, fun). Co-op ends next week, and my kiddos are sad about that. They have truly enjoyed this year! We are looking into various summer activities for them, including drama camps, music lessons, and summer jobs. Hopefully they will find new ways to connect with friends and get creative. What's on your agenda for the summer?

Friday Photo Journal, April 12, 2019

Happy Friday friends! I hope you have had a great week. I realize it is cold and snowy in many parts of the world, but here in Virginia, we are in full spring mode. Everything is blooming, including my favorite Dogwoods. The weather has been mild and pleasant, but the pollen this week has been out of control. Our world is covered in a blanket of greenish-yellow powder. It's pretty gross. Still, I'm happy the weather is warming and the blooms are so beautiful! Hopefully the pollen will dissipate before long and make it easier to enjoy the spring weather.

Our week was filled with the usual - Girl Scout meetings, co-op classes and school. My middle boy lost a few teeth, which makes 6 in the past two months! Other than a few home repairs and work, that's pretty much all we have going on right now. How was your week?

Friday Photo Journal, April 5, 2019

Happy Friday friends! The past week was pretty exciting. My oldest girlie performed in a musical, her debut, with our homeschool co-op. I was SO proud of her! She did an amazing job and it was thrilling to watch. We also had some visitors from out of town - my sweet mother-in-law came up from North Carolina with our nephews to view the show. The cousins all had a great time together over the weekend. Also, our oldest turned 17, which just boggles my mind. It was a big week!

We also enjoyed some lovely spring weather. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and are simply beautiful!
