Hello Friday! This week flew by with kids' activities, a wedding and a mid-week beach session. Looking back I realized I didn't take many personal pics so I just have some phone snaps to share.

For privacy reasons I cannot share any Girl Scout pics but we did have a big event this week where my girls researched and presented different countries for World Thinking Day. Learning about other cultures is always fun, I think, and they really enjoyed tasting new foods and learning new dances from around the globe. Otherwise, it was a pretty typical week for us. How about you? Anything exciting happening in your neck of the woods?

Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a great Easter weekend and productive week. We were back in the saddle this week after a short-lived spring break. We've had some particularly warm days and I can feel us inching toward summer.

Sadly, I think we've seen the last of the Dogwood blooms. 

We had a lovely Easter filled with lots of quality family time. My sister and brother-in-law hosted a delicious family brunch and it was a gorgeous day. We played games outside all afternoon. Here are a few pics I captured of our Easter weekend. Some are phone pics and not the best quality.

Whoa, this week went by fast. It was our spring break and I am sad to see it go! We didn't do anything particularly exciting, but it was nice to have a break from school. Work went on as usual, but the days were slightly less frenzied. We are looking forward to Easter celebrations this weekend, a yummy brunch and some family time. How about you? Do you have plans for the weekend?

Friday Photo Journal - April 7, 2017

Happy Friday all! Whew, it has been a busy week. Last weekend was my first big wedding of the season and birthday weekend for my oldest, now 15 (still boggles my mind). We also had some wild weather - a couple of big storms and some tornado activity.  I love a good storm and some dramatic wind, but tornadoes are a little too dramatic for me! There was some local damage (not in our neighborhood), but thankfully no one was hurt.

We have enjoyed some outdoor play, between the storms, and our flowering trees are in bloom - yay! I LOVE this time of year when the world wakes up in bursts of color! My work schedule is picking up with more sessions too, so I've been shooting quite a bit  and running all over town, as usual.  I'd say I'm ready for the weekend, but Friday is more like Monday to me...so, is it Monday yet?? ;)
