Gah, where did March go?! Are we seriously 1/4 of the way through 2017 already??? That seems crazy to me. And don't even get me started on how impossible it seems that I will have a 15 year old in a couple of days.

On a lighter note, we did have a fun trip to the zoo this week, compliments of my dad and stepmom who came into town for a visit. We had not been to the local zoo in several years and a lot has changed! Sadly the elephants are gone and the reptile display was closed for renovation. But we did get to see some hilarious siamangs, Asiatic black bears, cheetahs, kangaroos, and Patagonian cavies, all of which were new.

It was a fun afternoon that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't take a ton of photos, but here are a few I captured:

FriYay!! Happy weekend friends! I am looking forward to this weekend because we are finally supposed to get some warmer weather. It has been bitter cold and I have hardly ventured outdoors.  Well, except for the dozen or so times a day that I take the puppies out. I'm ready for the warm up and some spring blooms! What about you? Is spring where you are?

This week's pics are of my shadow. As usual, there is barely a glimpse of my other heathens. I am so glad she still thinks that I'm the bees' knees and hasn't found out, like the rest of them, 

how uncool I really am. ;)

Hey there friends! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Though this week was busy, it seemed to drag on. I think it's the return of winter that has me down. Our spring blooms were starting to show and then the cold front moved in and it has been bitter all week.  The flowers are frozen I think. They seem to have stopped mid-bud. The wind and chill make me want to cozy up under a blanket and hide on the couch, preferably with Netflix and some Shepherd's Pie. How about you? How are things in your neck of the woods?

Yay, Friday! We've been enjoying the warmer weather this week. Some of the flowers are even starting to pop and it feels a bit like spring. Rumor has it though, that we may be in for snow on Sunday. Wah wah wah....

Fortunately, we didn't have any trips to the ER this week. #winning It was a pretty quiet week for us. Just the usual stuff. What's new on your end?

Hey there friends! I will keep this week's recap short and sweet. I am running on little more than 3 hours of sleep today and I've reached my wall. A sick kid and a 3 AM run to the ER wiped me out today. Thankfully, it turned out to not be a major emergency, but in the wee hours of this morning I was fairly certain we were soon to be on our way to surgery for appendicitis. Lucky for us, we passed the appendix tests and ended up with just an unexplainable tender side and a virus. I am quite relieved that we avoided anything worse. But I am pretty exhausted nonetheless.

We did have a fun visit last weekend from my in-laws, and my kids and their cousins had a blast hanging together. I was also back at the beach yesterday for a client session, and you know, panos are my thing, so you got one of those this week too. :)
