Happy Friday friends! We've been busy celebrating this past week. Two of my kiddos had birthdays - so lots of cake for us! And presents, and ice cream and ice cream cake. Lots of photos from the festivities too.

First there was birthday cake baking. I was given very specific instructions, and then told that she knew how to do it best. (Get out of the way mom. ;)

Then, various gift opening opportunities at home and with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. and much jubilation. 

Top set is iPhone and please excuse the laundry. 

And, just like that, they are a year older. 

Aside from work, that pretty much sums up our week. How was yours?

Friday Photo Journal - August 19, 2016

Hi friends! Happy Friday!! I am so sorry for being so behind with posting. Truth is, I have squat to show for this week. Just trying to keep my head above water with work, family obligations, kid birthdays, back to school prep, etc., etc. Can you feel me? I'm sure I'm not the only one!

This little lady is having a birthday tomorrow. It is so bittersweet. My "baby" is getting so grown up and I could not be more proud. But, as she is my baby of the bunch, it's happening waaaaay to fast for my comfort. She'll be 6 tomorrow! And that means I'm ...... too old to count anymore. Oy!

Good gracious, it's Friday again? Another week of unexpected trials and surprises, but we keep on keepin' on. I was busy with more family beach sessions & editing, but I did manage to spend an afternoon at the park with the kids. I toted a camera along and we explored the walking trails. We also spent an afternoon at the bowling alley, after an impromptu invite from our neighbors. It was a welcomed distraction and the kids had lots of fun! They are novice bowlers and the bumpers were up, so at times it was a bit more like pinball, ha ha.

Friday Photo Journal - August 5, 2016

Hi friends! I apologize for the late posting this week! I'm such a terrible blogger. I got caught up in work and then last minute prep for an unexpected out of town trip for my kiddos. Never a dull moment around here. I hope you are enjoying the last weeks of summer. I know many start back to school soon. We still have about a month, thank goodness. I'm not ready to let summer go! How about you?
