Happy Friday all! I hope you have had a fun and productive week. I have managed to get a few administrative projects out of the way, and have been plugging away on my 365. I am really trying to break out of my norm and try different things, as you'll see from this post. From a creative stand point, it's been fun to have a break from shooting for others. I generally feel disappointed in my attempts at new things, however. I suppose that's a natural part of the learning curve, but I really want to love my work, and mostly I just don't. Maybe I'll get there one day. Then again, maybe that's just the ever-elusive carrot of photography, hmmm?
This week I tried some zoom blur and some free lensing, which resulted in lots of junk shots, ha ha. Thank goodness they are digital because I'd quickly break the bank with film!
Sorry for the image over load! How was you week?
lovely images Melissa! I like to "try" free lensing too!
Gorgeous images, Melissa! I have always loved your portrait photography and been in awe of your talent. I wish I could produce images like you do but have no one to teach me.
I can't believe how much your little one has grown over the time I've been following your blog and Instagram!! In fact, all your children are growing so much.
Have a blessed weekend. :)
What STUNNING shots- those blurry curls, I'm in love. But that bubble shot - that would make a great print!!!! LOVE ya my friend. I think you are doing great. I think whenever I try to step out of my photography comfort zone I end up quite disappointed & frustrated. I think you don't give yourself enough credit.
Love & hugs.
Fun bubble shots!
Beautiful images- especially those from the library! And your daughters gorgeous hair ~ a feeling of freedom and play!
I adore the one of her returning with the mail! Our mail carrier hands out lollipops to kids waiting at the mailbox. Our would rush down and wait just for that special treat. I have not given free lensing a try yet. Placing it on my list.
