Hello sweet friends! This week has been insanely busy - like most during the holiday portrait season rush. I can't believe we are less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving! And then you know Christmas always sneaks right up behind. I am sooooo not ready!!
I shot a wedding last Friday and had 6 portrait sessions this week, mini session galleries and a family gallery due, plus a wedding gallery due too, with another right behind. Oy! It's wonderful to have a steady stream of work, but it is SO much work and there is never enough time in the day.
I had wanted to participate in the Black and White challenge making it's way around Facebook and I completely fell down on that assignment. Plus, there are a slew of other tutorials, books and workshops I'm dying to dig into, but I just can't squeeze out much time right now. Maybe in January. I did manage to get a shot of my littlest this week. She loves climbing the tree in our back yard and is so proud that she can reach it herself. :)
A bit of a different edit for me. Trying to dig a little deeper in to the never-ending depths of Photoshop. It is so necessary to take a moment now and then to feed the creative soul and cast off the chains of monotonous editing, or face severe burn out.

HOLY SMOKES - What a beautiful young lady she is growing up to be. How on earth can she be this big now??!! WOW - beautiful work mama! I'm really wanting a couple session but just can't bring myself to hire a photographer I don't know. I so wish you were here!!!!! Can't I just fly you here for a weekend???
