Hi friends! It has been a super busy week of shooting and editing. I thought I'd share a little of what I've been working on. When work gets busy, I have less time to edit personal photos and less to share on this little blog. But, I have been shooting a lot lately and wanted to post a bit of my work here so you can see what I've been up to.
I love shooting in different locations and working with different groups of people. It's always challenging to walk into a new situation and try to come up with something beautiful while managing different personalities, different lighting and weather, etc. This job definitely keeps me on my toes!
I mentioned that I shot a wedding last weekend. We also shot the bride's bridal session the Sunday before her wedding because there was a delay in getting her dress. So, I have been working on bridal portraits and wedding peeks all week. I also finished editing a recent maternity session and a senior session and sent those galleries off. Then, I shot two couples/engagement sessions and a big family group. In no particular order, here are some of the shots from those sessions:
I had filled up my 2T G drive and it was acting wonky, so I recently purchased a 4T Seagate EHD to handle the weddings I have on my calendar for the rest of the year. So far it's been fast, quiet and super easy to use! I had trouble with my G drive on a of couple occasions, and had to send it in for repair. I'm hoping this Seagate works out better. I also back up all of my client files to Zenfolio online, and have a 3rd hard drive for final edit back ups.
I'm always curious about what other photographers use in terms of file storage solutions. How do you back up your files for safe keeping?
