Friday Photo Journal - Week 47

Happy Black Friday everyone! Have you filled your carts with amazing loot? I still haven't bought a thing :( But we had a fantastic Thanksgiving with family. I hope you did too! Today, rather than shopping, I'll be working. I have 3 sessions this weekend and a boat load of editing to do. I did some quick editing of yesterdays pics.

P52 - Falling Behind

Hello friends, Once again I am struggling to keep up with all of my projects. I know the year is quickly coming to a close and I'd hate to give up on my P52 now. I have taken photos of my kiddos, but they get left on the hard drive while I work on edits for my business. Today I thought I'd share a few quick pics I shot while waiting for some clients last weekend. We shot at a park in Virginia Beach and the leaves were just gorgeous. I was wishing my own family had tagged along because we are soooo behind on getting Christmas cards photos. Anyway, these were quick edits so they will have to fit the bill for P52 this week.

Friday Photo Journal Week 47

Another week down and Thanksgiving is nearly here! I'm excited and anxious...because I am so NOT ready for Christmas. I have so much to do! But, I am really looking forward to some family time! Only three more sessions, and a ton of editing to go before I can unwind a bit on turkey day! :)

WW- Boxwood Inn Wedding

P52 - Week 46

I'm late again for P52, but I'm up to my eyeballs in work.  Last weekend was a whirlwind of sessions, including my holiday mini sessions on Saturday. Minis are fun, but they are a lot of work! Next year, I may enlist some help. I came home Saturday evening, exhausted, and didn't think to check for ticks afterward. Then found one attached behind my knee on Sunday. Ewww! Fortunately, I don't think it was there long enough to inflict any real damage, but gross! I hate those little blood suckers. :-/

Friday Photo Journal - Week 46

Hi friends! I have a busy weekend ahead with family sessions, mini sessions, a wedding consult and a senior session. I'm not sure I'll get much sleep! Next week will be the big cram to get all that editing done and I also have a wedding to work on, and a wedding album design. I haven't even begun to think  about Christmas shopping! Have you?

WW - What I've Been Working On

Just sharing a few photos from a recent session with this lovely gal and her pup. She purchased portraits for her husband who has been deployed a loooooong time. I'm betting he'll love these!

P52 - Week 45

Oy vey! I am so behind on blogging...and chores...and life. It's all I can do to keep my head above water with work and homeschooling. Here is my very late P52 post for this week. A quick phone pic of my littles as big brother was at PE last week.

Friday Photo Journal - Weekly Photo Link Up

Happy Friday my friends! I hope you are looking forward to a long weekend. It seems every weekend for me is long these days...but not in a time off sort of way. Rather, in a long days of work sort of way. Hey, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work. There were several months of struggle this year and I am grateful for the increase in business. I am just struggling to find balance along this road.

I have worked a LOT this week and thus have spent very little time photography my family activities. I have been editing like crazy to get galleries out before I shoot another wedding this weekend, plus two family sessions. Just tonight I finished up an engagement session, so I thought I would post a few pics from that. Sadly I have no personal photos to share...but my work is a huge part of my life so that counts, right??
