Little Things - and Big Opportunities

So, last weekend was the culmination of many months of planning. Last winter I was hired as the wedding photographer for a former colleague of mine. Last spring I shot her engagement photos. In September I shot her bridal portraits. And Saturday, I shot her wedding! It was such an honor to play a small part in such a momentous occasion. I was fortunate to have Sarah Halstead second for me. She was awesome, and I am thrilled that we work so well together! The wedding was on a southern plantation, and despite the heat in the high 80s, it was a perfectly gorgeous day! Here a few images from the big day!

I've been reading your blog for a while but never seem to have time to comment - my bad. You are one amazing photographer, I really wish I lived near you so you could take photos of my family! And your kids - adorable - especially that little curly headed one :) I always enjoy gazing at your photos!
