Happy Monday all! Where did the weekend go? I feels like we didn't even have one. It was busy! I went on my first model shoot Saturday with a local photography group. It was fun to meet other photographers and stretch myself a bit. The location was an historic working farm and the weather was beautiful! I am used to shooting by myself though, and it was definitely a different experience to be in a group, like paparazzi, lol. I'm not really a big fan of posed-looking images, but I did get some shots I can use in my port folio, so that was a win. Many of them though, I don't think I'll use.
Last week I did take one of my favorite models to the back yard for some morning light photos. I don't usually shoot that early, because I'm not really a morning person, but I love the light and might have to try it more often. Here's a shot from that shoot:
I hope you all had a great weekend! How did you spend it?
Wow, what a dreamy shot. I love morning light but have been holding fast to a 7 day week at the gym-first thing in the a.m. so I don't bail out. May be time to take a day off.
Awesome bokeh backdrop and she is a real beauty.
I loved the image you showed on Facebook from the shoot. That location was gorgeous. I love this one too! The bokeh is awesome and curly is so cute!
So exciting! You have such a way with light!!
Seriously ANGELIC shot!
Oh my word- this is STUNNING!!!!!!! I love it!!
The workshop sounds like fun. I need to get people other than my kids in my portfolio :)
So dreamy! I love this. Did you make her dress?
Beautiful shot!
I'm not an early morning person, either.. But that golden hour is so worth it.
She's just the cutest lil angel.
oh wow, the light in that shot is incredible!!! love the color and focus too. just perfect!
Lovely and dreamy! :-)
That is the most beautiful picture. I would get up early every morning just for that shot! Absolutely perfect!!!
Loving the sunlight in her hair!
She's an angel! That tangle of curls is too much! Lovely.
Melissa, this is pure magic!
That's an amazing photo! I love how the background turned out and the light shining through her golden hair. The colors are all so perfect. Winner!
