Friday Photo Journal - Week 5

Hello lovelies! Who's ready for the weekend?! I know I am. We are finally ushering out the sick germs around here and I hope they stay away.
We had a lovely taste of spring this week, after a beautiful snowfall last weekend. It was a wacky weather week, but we did our best to get out and enjoy both the chilly white snow and the balmy sunshiny days.
Here's my recap from the week:

About the images:
1. Little Miss took her first sled ride. We only got 2-3" but it was enough to play in.
2. We took a family trip to Starbucks for some toasty beverages.
3. The snow only lasted about 2 days so the kids played out until dark to make the most of it.
4. I was getting some sweet snuggles from my little girl. Dreading the day she leaves my lap.
5. Swinging in the snow.
6. Sluurp. Breakfast time!
7. Chasing the kidlets down the street.
8. We ventured into olde town to see it topped with snow.
9. Another stroll around the neighborhood in the setting sun.

Winter in Black and White

P52 - Week 4

Greetings friends! Another Monday is here and January is already coming to a close. Last week we had yucky colds and gorgeous snow. Fortunately, the cold virus was a minor inconvenience and we were still able to get out and enjoy the rare snowy event. 

We don't often get much snow here, so the 2-3 inches last Saturday was a big deal. The kids loved it! 

I love the beauty of it, though I 'm not a fan of the cold.

Friday Photo Journal - Week 4

Hey there, welcome back to Friday Photo Journal! I hope you have had a great week. I am nursing a cold, but thankful that it's nothing more serious. The girls in the house have passed it around, but somehow thus far, the boys have been spared.  Despite the germs, we still had a pretty good week, but I didn't feel like pulling my camera out much, so these are all iPhone pics. 

About the images:

1. Little Miss was my company during the big girl's cheerleading practice. 

2. My big girl recovering from a cold.

3. Little Miss loves climbing the bleachers at basketball. I get a workout chasing her around.

4. I love that our camellias are in bloom. That little pop of color brightens up winter. I captured a water drop on one of the buds.

5. My little iPad addict. He loves playing Mine Craft.

6. Snow! We actually had a flake or two this week, and may get more tomorrow.

7. My sweet babe sleeping. She's been hitting the sack early as this cold has worn her out.

Short and Sweet

 I have been feeling a little under the weather the past couple of days, so this post is not only going up late, but it's going to be short and sweet. Little Miss and I have a bit of a head cold. Fortunately, it 's nothing serious, and I'm thankful for that. I know many are suffering much worse ills. But, I haven't picked up my camera much this week so I'm sharing a few pics of my girl from last week when the weather was much warmer.

What a sweet little face she has. I love the light in her eyes, so full of life, and those gorgeous cheeks!!  She's 7 months old now and all sugar :) What a beauty!

P52 - Week 3

Hello friends and happy Monday. I imagine many of you are off work and school today. We are taking a light school day, but working a little nonetheless. It's nice to have an extra day to relax a bit. It was pretty noisy around here this weekend as we had roofers banging around all day Saturday, and then finishing up our new roof this morning.  Fortunately it looks great and it now leak free!

Last week was busy with editing Valentine and baby photos. I'll share more of those tomorrow, but today I wanted to share one of my favorite memories from last week. You might have seen this if you popped by last Friday. Here it is again, a little bigger. I love watching these two bond ;)

Hello my sweet friends! I am so glad you stopped by. I have to say that I have been so excited by the response to Friday Photo Journal. I was kind of thinking that I might hear crickets after announcing my little meme, but you guys have been awesome about spreading the word. I am beyond thrilled to have so many friends, old and new, joining in. So, thank you!!!
