Project Rewind 366 -

Happy Monday everyone! It's been another busy week at the Rich house. Soccer season is starting up again, back to school preparations are underway, I'm in birthday planning mode for my two littles, and hubs is in exam week for his summer session of Grad school. Lots going on this month!
Here's a look back at our first week of August:

I captured a moment with our elusive 10 year old. He was excited by the new changes on the Lego website and wasn't paying attention to my camera, so I grabbed a snapshot.
He's rather camera shy these days.

And this one, lol,: "Not another shot mom. I'm serious this time."

We had some rumbly thunderstorms roll through and I took this late one evening after the rain.

Little Miss is still taking a nap most days, but that creates a problem at bed time, and she's often up past 10. Ugh! All my kids have given up naps completely by about 2 years old. To nap or not to nap? It's a dilemma, which either makes for very cranky afternoons or late nights. Here hubs was trying to keep her awake late afternoon so she'd go to bed at night.

I'm a cloud fanatic. I love sky gazing. This was my second choice for this week's Scavenger Hunt prompt "looking up".

I took more water drop shots. Still not satisfied though.

And took this little sweetie out for a back to school shoot. More of that to come this week.

  3. I love the last shot of your daughter. That is a framer. And love the sky shot. I too love taking pictures of clouds. My two year old still naps, and he does push bed time past what I'd prefer, but I keep thinking it is because it is summer and the sun stays up for awhile. I love nap time, I would cry if it just went away! SO cute though...she is just precious!

  4. I love these..... that first shot of your son and last shot of your older daughter are just GORGEOUS!!!

Your littlest one is as cute as can be.... those curls and big beautiful eyes always get me.

We are having the same nap dilemma here..... she has refused naps for the last few months and is fighting to stay awake through dinner. I hope we get past this soon. If we let her sleep, she is then up and raring to go until all hours of the night. Hoping the new school year will help to get everyone back on track.

Have a wonderful week......and thanks for your super sweet comment!!

  8. I just love looking at your photos! These came out fantastic! My little one doesn't really take naps during the day, and we put her to bed around 9:00 pm only because she wakes up at around 11:00 am! Unheard of right?! I know, it's crazy! She is a fantastic night sleeper! I'm lucky :o)
