Wedding Recap

I've been so busy with life and editing that I haven't shared many photos from the wedding I shot last week, with Sarah Halstead. It was fun and challenging. Extreme heat, little shade and a public beach made for an interesting day! The biggest obstacle, I think, was all of the onlookers in bathing suits. People laid about, walked on through and just perched and stared. Seriously. It was tough to find a clean shot, and boy was it hot! We had a heat index of 110+ which made for some quickie formals in the hot sand and then the wedding party was ready to head the beckoning call of frosty beverages. Much of our shot list was scrapped due to the sweltering conditions.

All in all though it was a great day. I was honored to be a part of it and really enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple. Here are a few shots I took:

  2. Love the colors they chose! Oh and the photographer! haha Great shots. I am always trying to get clean shots but unless you take your couple to a deserted place where there are no people, it is impossible! I think you did an amazing job considering that!
