We had quite a bit of rain yesterday and it cleared up just before sunset. While the kids played in the yard I took my camera out snapping to capture what's blooming in our garden. I'm loving the devine fragrance of our gardenias. We planted four bushes a few years ago and I adore them. I put them near the front porch so I could enjoy the sweet smells as they bloom.
We have a few rose bushes on the side of the house and I am always amazed at how the blooms just keep coming day after day. So pretty!
These bright babies bloom for only a couple of weeks, but they are so showy and fresh. I really enjoy them. I believe they are in the daylily family. Correct me if you know better. It's quite possible I'm wrong.
My favorite photo though, was this one of a little mushroom in the grass. There is something about mushrooms that I find quite intriguing and charming. This is my pic for Shoot. Edit. Submit this week.
What have you captured lately? Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend!
You've got some stunning flower shots. Just beautiful. And the mushroom is unique and interesting. Well done.
Beautiful rain drenched flowers. The mushroom photo is my fave though. I love the perspective in it.
