When the kids are burning off energy at our homeschool PE class, I generally take my camera on a walk around town and snap pics of anything interesting I come across. It's a nice change of pace to be able to shoot without feeling quite so rushed. Having one child with me versus four, allows for a little more flexibility. While I don't always capture fantastic shots, I chalk it up to practice and honing my eye. I read somewhere that you have to take about 10,000 shots to "get them out of the way" and really start to improve your craft. Here are a few of my 10,000 frames ;)

Thanks so much for stopping in! Have a beautiful day ;)
Very nice shots - love them all actually!!!
A great selection of your 10, 000. I love the texture of the first, really nice.
You captured some beautiful images of your town! I love the composition of the first one. The door at the end is my favorite.
Absolutely wonderful editing... I love that wooden door in the last shot! WoW! =)
That's lovely that you got to take photos in a relaxed state and just got to click away with no pressure- and great results too, I'm really impressed with your 1st and 5th shot.
What amazing finds!! These are gorgeous!
I have heard that too- I know that I usually take a good 200, 500, 800 pics in a week- but I really feel that just in these last few months am I really starting to understand things better. So that 10k pics really makes sense.
These scenic walk pics are gorgeous- I wish I had such beautiful architecture around here.
Your pictures are so so beautiful! They make me want to snatch my camera and go wandering around town :)
Happy Friday from your new follower!
