When we were heading home from our Girl Scout meeting the other day, I stopped by the side of the road to shoot these. I have passed the cotton fields several times on our way too and from this new homeschool GS troop my 6 year old has joined. I have been wanting to capture a few shots, but always seem to be in too much of a hurry. It was drizzling a little, but on our way home Tuesday I managed to capture a few pics of this cool old barn. I love the way it is weathered and overgrown with vines. It just has so much character!

I so LOVE that you stopped and did it! I say that I'm going to do that all the time, here, but never do.
Gorgeous captures!
Great shots and I love your edits. Those are my biggest weakness and I"m so inspired by other people's.
Thanks for coming by to comment on my photos today!
What a fantastic old barn! I love the way it's covered in vines and the rusty roof. Your photos are wonderful!
Love your processing! Great shots :)
Great shots!! Your edits are fantastic!
Happy Friday!
That's beautiful, and until I moved here, I wouldn't have even known that was cotton. It's so weird to me to see cotton and tobacco as the primary crops!
Beautiful photos. I love the processing, too. Something about old barns. :)
Beautiful, moody photos. I'm glad it was drizzly!
Wow!!! That is simply an amazing place and great photography!
Oh wow! It looks like the land is recaiming itself. Great shot!
Beautiful shots!! Guess that barn isn't used much, with all the overgrowth and being surrounded by cotton, but it sure makes a wonderful photo.
