Hello friends! I hope you've all had a great weekend! I was excited to hunt for this week's prompts, but in the end felt like I came up a little short. Sigh. For example, when we were hiking yesterday I saw the tree I wanted to photograph for the last prompt, but it just didn't turn out as dramatically as I had envisioned. I felt the same way about most of these pics. But it's all a learning process, right? And I am enjoying the journey!

Dear Melissa,
When I read your opening paragraph about how you felt you came up a little short and then I looked at your photographs, I was confounded. You must set a very high mark for yourself. I LOVE these!!!
I especially like the water shot. I would never have thought of that for texture, but it certainly is. I will be looking for your postings in the future. This was great!
