Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Good bye summer. I'll miss your warm and sunny buzz. Until next year...
WOW- the sunlight on those is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful photos and poem. It's the opposite for me, we are in early spring in the Southern Hemisphere, so summer is coming.
