Greetings friends, and happy Friday. I hope you have had a great week, and managed, somehow, to stay cool in this record heat.
My question for today is simply: What was the best vacation you ever had? Where did you go and with whom?
My answer: Our family won't be taking a vacation this year, as hubs is in school all summer and money is tight. I have been blessed to visit many wonderful and memorable places in my life, but my favorite vacation has to have been the year we were able to take our kids to my families' cottage on Lake Michigan. It's so beautiful and relaxing there. I love it. The kind of place that feeds the soul. I grew up spending summers there and it was a thrill to share that special place with my own children.

My favorite of ours was when we went to Punta Cana - especially the second time, when we had Princess Nagger with us. :) We're hoping to get back there eventually! :)

We have been on many vacations, and always have a great time, but I would have to say Hilton Head is prob my favorite. Just so relaxing. We also enjoy just heading to the lake for a day! Visiting and following via You Like Me Hop...hop over to my blog and follow back if you like!

Alaska in July. I met a super hot guy and we did super hot things and I was super young and single. I also saw a moose by a glacier and it was 70 degrees outside :)
I have to say that our vacations have always been spur of the moment. I think we had a blast in South Dakota. We stayed at the Ram Kota and the kids had a blast at the indoor waterpark they had.
I think the best vacation I ever took was a 'girls trip' with my mom and sister to Italy. We had all just finished watching "Under the Tuscan Sun" and were obsessed with everything Italy... and we ended up going! It was just fantastic!

Last year we took the kids to Disneyland and Knotts. Even though we've gone many times before, this was the best vacation ever. No one got sick. Everyone behaved on the plane. It was great!
My vacation in the US! It was the first foreign country I ever visited! I went solo!!
We can't afford vacations anymore but when we could we loved going to Chicago!
