Greetings friends. I hope that you have had a great week!
My question today is: Do you have a favorite quote/mantra/poem? Something that inspires you or gives you strength when times are tough? Words to live by? Please share :)
My words to live by:
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Thanks for coming by! Be sure to stop by An Island Life for more Aloha Friday fun.
Also, before you go, be sure to enter my giveaway for Purex Complete Crystals Fabric Softener!

I love the Serenity Prayer too!
I also love Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
My Aloha Friday is HERE
I sometimes say, "God will only put you through what he can pull you through."
I have always gone by - "Live and let live." It teaches tolerance and acceptance...
I guess it's a sort of mantra -- it's something my grandmother (who raised me) always said to me when things were tough -- "keep your chin up and keep moving". I say that to myself a lot when things seem hard and/or complicated -- and it reminds me of her as well, which also helps because she was one *tough* lady :-)
Yes...Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
It's also on my daughter's headstone.
Happy Aloha Friday!
"Never speak the unpleasant truth or pleasant untruth" - These were the pearls of wisdom of my late aunt.
Whatever I'm going through is what I can bear. Whatever I have or don't have is what I can handle.
actions speak louder than words
I can do all things through him who strengthens me - Phil. 4:13
