This is a picture of my grandmother (paternal) with my niece on her lap. My grandmother is sitting in the chair she always sat in at the cottage on Lake Michigan that she visited every summer of her life until her early 90's. This photo was taken about 16 years ago. I am sad to say that my grandmother passed away this spring. But, this is how I like to remember her.
