Wow, how time flies. I cannot believe I am the mom of a 7 year old! I was so overwhelmed with joy the day he was born. I think I actually cried for about 2 weeks. I was so in love, and my life changed forever. I had NO IDEA what a journey I was beginning.
Aiden never ceases to amaze me. His energy is limitless, his imagination boundless, the depth of his soul unending. He is passionate and fiery, as he was aptly named. He is bright, strong, at times fierce and stormy, and equally as deeply loving and vulnerable. He is one of a kind and I thank God everyday that I have been bestowed this gift to love and nurture. His is not mine; this I know, but for a while I am blessed with his keeping.
Happy birthday, my brave big boy! You make mommy so proud, and I love you to the moon and back a million times.
