In Honor of Robert Frost
Thursday, January 29, 2009
Robert Frost has long been one of my favorite poets. I discovered Frost in an English class, with one of the best teachers I ever had (thank you Ms. Pleasants) and have often been comforted by the beauty of his view of the world. Since today is the anniversary of his death I decided to post this:
Nothing Gold can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Read more Frost here.
I enjoy reading your blog!
Also, I've given you the Kreativ Blogger award on my blog: http://theitalianbelladiaries.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-first-blog-award.html
I enjoyed the poem. Thanks for sharing.
That's a great poem!
Thanks for some quality points there. I am kind of new to online , so I printed this off to put in my file, any better way to go about keeping track of it then printing?
